Creating a Recommendation History Report

You can create a Recommendation History report to see the history of license-type recommendations.

  1. To create a Recommendation History report:

  2. Do one of the following:

    • In the Main menu of the SAP Admin module, open the Reporting menu and click Recommendations History.
    • In the SAP Admin module, run a Process License Recommendations report by following the steps described in Creating a Process License Recommendations Report. In the Process License Recommendations report, click History.
  3. Specify your selection criteria. If you leave a field blank, all values are automatically selected for the report.

OptionDescription
**__System ID__ **Enter the system ID or range of system IDs that should be contained in the report. If you select a user in the Process License Recommendations report and click **History**, this field is already populated.
**__Client__ **Enter the client ID or range of client IDs that should be contained in the report. If you select a user in the Process License Recommendations report and click **History**, this field is already populated.
**__User Name__ **Enter the user ID or range of user IDs that should be contained in the report. If you select a user in the Process License Recommendations report and click **History**, this field is already populated.
**__Original License Type__ **Enter the original license type or a range of license types that should be contained in the report.
**__Recommended License Type__ **Enter the recommended license type or a range of recommended license types that should be contained in the report.
**__Recommendation Status__ **Enter the status of the recommendations that should be contained in the report. Possible values: - P—Pending - A—Accepted - R—Rejected - O—Overwritten - I—Ignored - U—Unprocessed For information about status values, see License-Type Recommendation Status.
  1. Click Execute.
